Angelika Robinson, PsyD,
Casa de Lago, Program Director

Dr. Robinson is the Program Director for Casa De Lago, a residential facility for adolescent girls who suffer from Eating Disorders and other related problems. She has been working with children and adolescents suffering from eating disorders for over fifteen years.

Prior to joining Casa De Lago, Dr. Robinson spent several years as the Program Director for an adolescent eating disorder facility in the Los Angeles area. She is familiar with designing and implementing treatment programs that have proven both effective for the client and integral for a multidisciplinary staff. In addition to supervising psychologist and MFT interns, her extensive knowledge of the dietary exchange system coupled with her experience in treating both children and eating disorders offers Dr. Robinson a platform to design programs that provide the optimal level of care for adolescent girls. Her experience with eating disorders also extends to being the Primary Therapist for the Radar Institute from 1992 – 1998.

Dr. Robinson was the supervising psychologist providing crisis intervention, critical incident debriefing and short term therapy to children and adolescents who were dependants of the court at the Orangewood Children’s Home in Anaheim, California. At Orangewood Children’s Home she was responsible for successfully launching the first 23 hour mental health assessment facility for abused and neglected children in the state of California. In addition, she spent six years serving the pediatric AIDS hospice population before joining a small group of psychologists dedicated to providing intensive mental health services to Columbine High School students at Littleton, Co. She was also the Staff Psychologist at Western Youth Services, a nonprofit agency providing mental health services to high-risk adolescents and their families in Orange County, California.

Dr. Robinson has been featured as the weekly host on the WB Channel in Denver, CO, focusing on pertinent mental health issues. She is a certified continuing education unit provider, and has appeared on a nationally distributed educational video aimed at educating adolescents about eating disorders. Dr Robinson obtained her Doctorate Degree in Psychology from the American Behavioral Studies Institute in 1997, her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from American Behavioral Studies Institute in 1995 and her B.A. from the University of Southern California in 1986.
